Tutoring & Translation Policies
Services Offered
Tutoring in English & Spanish (one-on-one or groups up to 4 students)
Translation Services: Legal, academic, personal, and other documents
Flexible Plans: Subscription (3 months, 6 months, or 9 months) or Pay-As-You-Go
Subscription Plans (3, 6, or 9 months)
Students select fixed days & times at the start of the term. These remain the same throughout.
Students on a monthly subscription must pay the full agreed amount regardless of attendance.
Non-refundable: Missed sessions are not refundable.
Make-Up Options:
Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled class time to be eligible for a make-up session.
Students who cancel with proper notice (at least 24 hours in advance) may reschedule the class within the same week, subject to tutor availability.
No-Show or Late Policy:
A 15-minute grace period applies.
After 15 minutes, the class is forfeited (no live make-up session).
If your assigned tutor is unavailable, another qualified tutor will teach your class.
Billing
Subscription payments are due on the first day of each month.
Students who choose a 3 month, 6 month, or 9-month plan may either:
Pay the full amount upfront, or
Pay monthly while committing to the full duration of the plan.
Grace Period
Students have a three day grace period after the due date to make payment without penalty.
Late Fees
Beginning on the 4th day after the due date, a daily late fee of $10 will apply until payment is received.
Non-Payment & Termination
If payment is not made within 7 days after the due date, the subscription will be automatically terminated.
Reactivation Fee
To reinstate a terminated subscription, students must pay the full amount upfront at the time of renewal.
Agreement Terms
By agreeing to this plan, the student commits to a monthly subscription for private lessons on the scheduled day(s) and time(s). Each class is billed at the specified rate, and payment is made according to the agreed schedule (at the beginning of each month or as a full upfront payment for multi-month plans).
Pay-As-You-Go Students
Pay-as-you-go students must create an account to access the calendar and view availability.
All lessons must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Rescheduling/Cancellation:
Must provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
With notice → receive a credit for a future class.
Less than 24 hours → no class credit
No-Show or Late Policy:
15-minute grace period.
After 15 minutes, the class is forfeited with no refund or credit.
Refunds: Not available. Only class credits apply when appropriate notice is given.
Grace Period & Attendance
All students have a 15-minute grace period.
After 15 minutes → class is forfeited.
No-shows are not creditable.
Document Translation Policy
Translation services cover documents, worksheets, or other materials requested by the student.
Fees
Charged per word, per page, or per document, depending on length and complexity.
Rush or urgent translations may incur an additional fee.
Payment Terms
Payment is due before the translation is delivered.
Accepted payment methods are the same as your standard lessons (online payment via site)
Delivery
Standard delivery times will be communicated in advance based on the length and complexity of the document.
Translated document will be delivered by email only (PDF or Word format)
Late delivery due to unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly.
Refunds & Revisions
Once the document is delivered, fees are non-refundable.
Minor revisions due to translation errors will be made at no additional cost.
